My clinical practice is in women’s health, for 41 years now. One of the main areas of need is in perimenopause/menopause management. Women struggle with changes in their quality of life with a host of potential symptoms, risks of major diseases like cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, Type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s, dementia, breast cancer and more. Other women have or may also have current significant health issues that they are struggling with—some menopause related and some not. My goal is to help with all quality of life issues, disease prevention, and disease treatments. These are serious issues, but I enjoy the humorous moments with patients to share a good laugh together, find the joy in the day to day, and help pave a path for more connection with people and nature.
In the spirit of good humor, I wanted to share this video that a colleague and friend sent to me. Amidst the seriousness of it all, maybe we all need a break from trying to do better, look better, be better, feel better???
“Welcome to the ‘We Do Not Care’ Club”. Be prepared to laugh and give yourself a break!!
